Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner/Scheduler to join our team.
As a Planner/Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating and optimizing production schedules to ensure efficient operations.
You will work closely with various departments to ensure timely delivery of products and maximize customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production schedules based on manufacturing demands, inventory levels, and production capacity - Collaborate with production management to prioritize and schedule production orders - Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to meet changing demands or unexpected disruptions - Coordinate with supply chain management to ensure availability of raw materials and components - Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards - Utilize lean manufacturing principles to identify areas for improvement and implement continuous improvement initiatives - Utilize MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to track inventory levels and generate purchase orders - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and minimize waste - Analyze production data and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs)
Experience:
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or related roles in a manufacturing setting - Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices - Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies - Proficiency in using MRP systems for inventory and production management - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions - Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams - Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Join our team as a Planner/Scheduler and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality products through efficient production planning.
